During my summer internship at Coinbase, I was given a problem and an approach for solving it. I came to think a different approach would work better and spent the rest of the internship building it. The project was a great chance to apply ideas I'd been developing about model interpretability and the epistemics of explanations to a real problem. The writeup is on Coinbase's blog.
